Unleash the Rabbit!!

It's common to walk dogs using leashes.

But it's weird to walk your rabbit using a DOG LEASH. But that's what we're doing to Beta. In fact, he enjoys his walk outside our house. He feels comfortable, as long as we don't pull the leash too hard.

Before you start screaming "RODENTS CRUELTY!" to me, the truth is, pet shops are starting to sell leashes for rabbits and (!) even hamsters. Plus, guinea pigs. Wow, rodents are walking like dogs now. You need to buy the right leash (shame on me) for them. Since rodents are fragile animals, your leash must be supporting their abdomens and head and not strangle their neck. By supporting their abdomens, it is safer to pull them and you won't end up jerking their heads which might lead to strangling or neck bone fracture. The leash I bought supports both his abdomen and neck. I bought it from Daiso, just in case you might want to know where I bought it.

Beta loves to chew the leash, by the way.
